Yes, Core Sales Inc. was founded in the basement of a Mississauga townhome by Dean Ramdath. Since 2012, Dean’s daughter Katrina Ramdath has led the company, keeping it 100% Canadian-owned and proudly female-led with a focus on sustainability
We serve paper packaging and disposables wholesalers, restaurant and coffee suppliers, beverage and food sampling companies, e-commerce partners, and local consumers switching to compostable disposables
Our Core Collection includes PLA-based hot and cold cups, food tubs, cutlery, straws, and bagasse products like plates and takeout containers. All products are 100% compostable and certified for commercial composting
Yes, all products are BPI, TUV, and ASTM D6400 certified. We use FSC-certified paper and soy/vegetable-based inks. Products compost in commercial/industrialized facilities only, not intended for home composters
Our products require commercial composting facilities with specific conditions and will not compost properly at home. You can find local composters HERE

No, we are not a retail shop or cash and carry. You may visit our showroom by appointment only BOOK APPOINTMENT
We sell mainly through distributors but can ship directly if no distributor is nearby. You can pick up smaller orders from our warehouse. Contact us and let us know your business/location/products so we can assist you with ordering our products

No minimum order requirements. We support small businesses starting with even one case. Orders over $199 CAD ship free in Canada
Orders ship within 1-2 business days. Pick-up orders placed Monday to Friday by 4pm (eastern standard time) are ready the next day
Yes, printing is available with minimums of 50 cases or 50,000 pieces. Lead time is 10-12 weeks. Contact us to learn more

Yes, distributors & resellers receive full sample sets with account setup. Others can contact us to arrange specific samples
Payments can be made by Direct Deposit, E-transfer, Cheque (OAC), Credit & Debit Cards (COD), and cash during our biannual warehouse sales
Returns require authorization and must be unopened. Damaged or open cases often are non-refundable. Returns after 30 days are not accepted. A 15% restocking fee applies
